‘Pinocchio’ - A timeless classic.

The story of Pinocchio, a wooden puppet who undergoes a moral journey in order to become a real boy, is one of the great classics of children’s literature and Jill Girard and Keith Smith once again got just the right balance to entertain and educate the younger ones while keeping the adults in the audience amused. They are brilliant at this! It is a production awash with fun, adventure and laughs - but also great lessons about love and life, and the perils of making the wrong choices in the company we keep. This People’s Theatre Production is filled with great songs, that audiences will undoubtedly be humming all the way home.

Pinocchio is the first production opening at The People’s Theatre, this year – the smaller theatre situated within the Jo’burg Theatre complex.
