Naledi award-winning team in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR!

Fresh from having won 7 Naledi Awards for EVITA at Monday night’s prestigious theatre awards ceremony, the creative team of Paul Warwick-Griffin (Director), Charl-Johan Lingenfelder (Musical Supervisor) and Louis Zurnamer (Musical Director) are ready to once again set the stage alight with Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit musical JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR!

This Pieter Toerien Production is set to star Cito, Nadine, Jonathan Roxmouth, Anton Luitingh and Terence Bridgett, and will play the magnificent Teatro at Montecasino from 3rd June to the 26th June.

JC SUPERSTAR features the popular Lloyd Webber songs “Superstar” and “I Don’t Know How To Love Him” as well as the highly entertaining “King Herod’s Song” (originally performed by Manfred Mann’s Michael d’Abo). Afrikaans music fans will be thrilled to see Nadine play the role of Mary and Soap fans can look forward to seeing Terence Bridgett in full flight as King Herod! Wonderboom frontman Cito returns in the role of Jesus of Nazareth. GREASE and A HANDFUL OF KEYS fans will be able to catch the multi-talented Jonathan Roxmouth rocking the house as Judas. Anton Luitingh (Beauty and the Beast, Joseph, EVITA) once again shows his class as Pilate.
